About Us
Hurting World Ministries
Founded in the U.S. in 2009 by Pastor Bob Wilson, our goal is that everyone will hear and be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2014, Bob created a Foundation in Panama and a team on the ground to manage outreach to the indigenous Ngobe-Bugle people in Canas Verdes. Their needs are great. Will you help?
El Faro Christian School
Our main focus is operating the El Faro Christian School. It sits high in the mountains above Boquete, Panama in the township of Canas Verdes. lts mission is to break the cycle of poverty by providing children with free, high quality, Christian education. The students who attend the school come from poor, indigenous Indian families. Many of their parents are laborers on nearby coffee farms. These Ngobe families are desperately in need of help. On their own, they cannot afford to send their children to school. With your monthly sponsorship, each child receives textbooks, school supplies, uniforms, instruction from a loving teacher, and two nutritious meals a day.
